Hot Bikram Yoga

Hot yoga is not for everyone, in fact, maybe not for most people. But if you’re still curious about if yoga is so good for you — and whether it helps with sleep and physical health — it is, and it does! I get better sleep, stronger muscles, energy for life, better mood and better feelings.

I chose the Pacific Heights practice location because its layout — located at the edge of Manhattan’s Central Park — with a wide range of space, from the middle of the park to the Pacific Ocean. At the end of my session, most of the participants would hang out at the park, eating lunch or sitting in the sun on the beach.

The studio building, has a wide open, green space for meditation, yoga and meditation coaching. The building was open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays during the week.

Here is what happened during the workshop. Some attendees arrived late at the beginning, some arriving before the bell, but everyone ended up with plenty of time to practice, at least enough time to feel relaxed while getting fit.

The first three months after starting my yoga practice are the best times to keept practicing because everything you do gets faster and you get more relaxed.

The next three months, you can start to make small progress and make big jumps with each session. The important thing to remember is that every time you practice yoga, you will get used to practicing, and you need those first few weeks to get ready.

Bikram also helps you to find peace of mind during the day. When I started, I had very little energy. Even during our daily routine, I was tired before noon to go to bed. Since then, I feel more confident, even more confident, to walk for 15 minutes at a time without feeling tired. Not only did it make me feel calmer, but it also helped me to get into bed earlier.

I am happy, proud and more motivated to stay fit. The only problem with bikram, is if you feel lazy, depressed or bored, you will get lost in a world of bodybuilding exercises you find too difficult to do. Why? Because you may not know how to do them, what movements to do, when to do them. That is what I did and the answer is simple: You can follow bikram and get a much more toned body, while becoming energized with the heat.

When we think of yoga we think about breath work. This is different. It douses your core and stretches everywhere. It is body work and helps all parts of your life. Better sleep, stronger core, and radiant energy come after practicing for just a few weeks.
