Can a book change your life? This one did for me--it changed my life and my sense of life. It changed my perception of what books can do in my life. I could no longer see the meaninglessness to being in books. And to be able to see meaning in the things that I find so amazing as well. I don't have to look elsewhere for inspiration or books. This book was the right book. I am still rereading and enjoying parts of it. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to become more creative because this amazing book got me thinking. Göran Tunström's The Christmas Oratorio - what can I say about this book that is not already widely known? I loved everything. I've read all the novels in an effort to find out what happened in these books. So, this is an entertaining read even if I don't really get too much through it to begin with. A novel not even known in the US has become the most cult Swedish novel of all time. I'm an optimist and think that the best of two worlds holds. The world without the threat of the supernatural, in which we live, is a very boring and unproductive place.
